About House of Virgin Mary Project
Established in 2009, HouseofVirginMary.com is an independent cultural heritage and pilgrimage platform dedicated to preserving and sharing the spiritual and historical significance of the House of Virgin Mary (Meryem Ana Evi) in Ephesus, Türkiye.
The project was created to offer meaningful spiritual access to those who are unable to visit this sacred site in person. In its early years, the website introduced online candle lighting, becoming one of the first digital initiatives to connect faith and technology in a pilgrimage context. Through this platform, believers from around the world can share prayers and wishes on the Wishing Wall, forming a global spiritual community united in reflection and collective support.
Our mission is to honor the legacy of Ephesus as a place of faith, history, and devotion. The House of the Virgin Mary has long been recognized as an important pilgrimage destination for Christians and visitors of many traditions. We strive to present its story with respect, clarity, and cultural awareness.
In addition to our spiritual services, we provide:
Historical & Religious Insight
Carefully researched information about the House of the Virgin Mary, its significance in Christian tradition, and its connection to the ancient city of Ephesus.
Travel & Pilgrimage Guidance
Practical guidance and local insights for visitors planning their journey to Ephesus, including pilgrimage traditions and cultural context.
Sacred & Cultural Products
A curated selection of faith-inspired items and regionally influenced designs that reflect the spiritual heritage and artistic motifs of the area.
HouseofVirginMary.com operates as an independent informational and cultural initiative. We are committed to keeping the light of faith accessible to people everywhere, while respecting the sacred history and traditions associated with this revered site.
