Kuşadası is a small settlement founded by the Ionian settlers, and its existence is being known since primeval times.

Ottoman Türk concurred Kusadasi in 1413 after periods of different Selcuk Princes and crusades. The city started to take today’s appearance in the early 17th century as of Öküz Mehmet Pasha’s becoming grand vizier. Öküz Mehmet Pasha constructed city walls and the Mosque complex which is comprised of the mosque, Turkish bath and the inn.
